Pine and Bamboo – Shen Maishi (1891 – 1986)

Of cylindrical form with a hidden footring, the rim straight and uneverted, with bowstring banding at the base and an incised key fret at the rim, the body with relief moulded calligraphy in 10 lines of 7 character poetry, all in green, yellow and brown enamel fired on the biscuit body. Base enamelled yellow and with an older Chinese export seal.
