Dimensions 13 ½” (34.5 cm) H

Seated in rajalilasana (posture of royal ease) with left knee raised and robes and a covering flowing over a rockery seat, the left hand resting on the knee and right hand lowered in abhayamudra (gesture of coming in peace). Crowned with a 5 pointed tiara and the back with a rockery shelf supporting a vase and a bird in the Ming style iconography of the Bodhisattva of Compassion. The figure gilt lacquered and the base and backing lacquered.
